Comments: couldn't swim properly. kept cathing people in front of me even when i was swimming below my strokes. even using breast stroke, it didnt help either. at one point, i just swam in between 2 people to get psased them and gain position What would you do differently?: push to start in front rather than waiting for people and strating from the back Transition 1
Comments: couldnt get my shoes to clip on during mount up. lost alot of time. way too many things to do during transition to bike. What would you do differently?: have to buy a tri suit so i dont have to worry about putting on a top and bike shorts. try to relax as i mount up on the bike to get the shoes to lock on the pedals faster. Comments: overall bike ride was good considering the pace was unexpected. What would you do differently?: learn how to ride with feet on top of shoes near the dismount point. Run
Comments: didnt want to push any harder since hr was not falling below 150. weird since i train with keeping hr below 138 during my runs. at one point, i thought i wont be able to run the whole thing but I DID!!! What would you do differently?: run my own pace and push when i get a chance Post race

woke up at 330am as race was scheduled for 630am. did some streching and drank 1/2 bottle gatorade and 1/2 bottle water.
swam 200 m prior to beginning of swim leg
