Pre-race routine:

Ate cereal and yogurt at 5am...ate a banana w/peanut butter at 6:30
Did some stretching and visiting the porta-potty twice right before the race started...

Comments:

Had a great first half, was at 1:14 at the half-way point and was hoping to keep that up to finish at my goal of 2:30 but didn't quite keep it up for the second half of the course.
What would you do differently?:

Not much...I think I trained pretty well for the time I had and the traveling I did. I'm guessing that if I keep up these distances that I will be able to do better on the next one!
Post race
Warm down:

Didn't feel great, when I saw my sister at the finish line I got emotional and had some asthma issues, used my inhailer and then saw stars for a bit, drank power-aid and ate a banana and half a bagel and then felt kind of naseated for several hours. Did a little bit of stretching and ate a few chips at the Hard Rock after party.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Age, heart, and conditioning...

Great race...looking forward to it again next year (I think ;-)
