Total Time = 1h 13m 52s
Overall Rank = 68/302
Age Group = 20-29
Age Group Rank = 9/30
Pre-race routine:

I arrived nice and early so I could take my time setting up transition-and get a parking place that was less than a half mile away.
Event warmup:

Umm..I was freezing so I didn't get in the water before my start. I did wade in to my knees to check the temperature
Swim
  • 09m 7s
  • 375 meters
  • 02m 26s / 100 meters
Comments:

I was kicked a couple of times and kept getting behind people that would switch to breast stroke. At times it was hard to get around them.
What would you do differently?:

Place myself at the front and on the inside.
Transition 1
  • 04m 53s
Comments:

It is a large transition area. I take to long to get out of my current wetsuit.

Surprisingly, I was the fourth fastest transition in my age group.
What would you do differently?:

Buy a new wetsuit.
Bike
  • 36m 49s
  • 8.25 miles
  • 13.44 mile/hr
Comments:

Seeing as how I am incredibly talented I managed to get gel on my left hand, which in turn got on my shifter making more or less impossible to shift-my hand would just slip. So I stopped(on a hill) and got my gloves out-managing to drop my bike in the process. I am so slick.
What would you do differently?:

Not be clumsy, just take the time to put on my gloves in transition. Put the gel in my mouth-not on my bike.
Transition 2
  • 01m 54s
Comments:

Large transition area
fifth fastest in my age group.
What would you do differently?:

Rack my bike a little more quickly
Run
  • 21m 11s
  • 2.1 miles
  • 10m 05s  min/mile
Comments:

I ran this course(hilly) faster than my practice runs(flat).
What would you do differently?:

Make sure that my timing chip was not so tight on my ankle-I had to stop to loosen it because it was going to take a chunk out of my ankle...well, maybe I am exaggerating a little.
Post race
Warm down:

A little jogging, walking, and stretching

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I messed up my left hip two weeks ago and it is still painful to move my leg. Once I got started I didn't really notice it much until the run.
