Pre-race routine:

My wife and I stayed at a cabin 40 minutes away from the race so we had to drive in. I was so worth it, however, as the cabin had a hot tub. Doesn't get much better than that!
Event warmup:

None. It was chilly at the start but I was totally warmed up by about mile 2.

It's a marathon. It was my first one and it was an incredible experience.
What would you do differently?:

You can always train more, I suppose. But I was happy with my performance.

Warm down:

Collapsed at the finish line. Not really but almost.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

It is 26 miles! That is a long way.

Event comments:

Great race in a great little town. I highly recommend it. I may be back next year depending on my race schedule.
