Swim
Comments: I was trying to get at or under 2 min avg, I felt like I never got in a rythm I was rushing a bit too much What would you do differently?: warmup in the pool first Transition 1
Comments: transitions were same time for everyone Bike
Comments: felt good. I could have pushed it harder but I tried to save some for the run since that is my weakest discipline. I dont believe the bike computer mileage, I think I was more like 21-22 mph avg What would you do differently?: nothing Transition 2
Comments: transitions were same time for everyone Run
Comments: I was shooting for a speed of around 7.5 mph on the treadmill but could only get up to 6.7. Legs felt good but aerobic bad. started to get lung cramp and had to back off. What would you do differently?: I feel I pushed it as hard as I could, I just need better conditioning. Post race
Warm down: stretching and ate a cliff bar What limited your ability to perform faster: conditioning and I wished I would have warmed up in the pool first Event comments: This was my first Tri in 16 yrs after loosing 63 lbs. It was a great event that I entered with my son in hopes of getting a good baseline for the upcoming season. Both my son and I enjoyed this and would do it again. Last updated: 2009-02-17 12:00 AM
