Pre-race routine:

woke up at 4 and ate some peanut butter pretzels and muscle milk.

AHHH!!! Noticed right before the swim my wetsuit had a whole in it ( in the arm pit no less) :/. Water starte coming in like crazy! I lost my goggles near the end of the second lap. I am a slow swimmer, but was happy to get out of the water in less than 50 minutes.
What would you do differently?:

practice swimming more. Especially jumping in the waves and more OWS.

Warm down:

walked around a bit. I was SALTY! I really should have had salt pills/packets with me.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

not training perhaps :/

Event comments:

This hard but FUN! The course was great. In general I like loops. I got to see my mom quite a few times and talked to a lot of people. Always cool to talk to other athletes out there. One older guy with an M-dot on his arm told me " keep going honey, you're looking good." ^_^ I thought that was cool.

Course: 2 laps on the beach. Some runing was on soft sand. I honestly walked quite a bit. This was rough! I got a bit lost on the run course... there were SO few people out there, ha!
