Pre-race routine:

Went to bed early (11.00pm). Got woken up at 1.30am by my sone who had locked himself out of the house!
Porrige 2.5hrs before the start.

What would you do differently?:

Maybe try getting suit off legs whilst I put helmet on.

Really pleased with the position on the bike. At some points I questioned whether I could have gone faster but I wanted to save something for the run. Made a conscious effort not to stand up.

I still have to put socks on and that probably costs me 20 secs. Also I forgot to get out of the shoes as I biked in.

Here we go again, the run lets me down now. I seem to have improved on the swim but need to work on the run.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing. If I had pushed more I could maybe have shaved 10 secs off but I was going about as fast as I could. What I did notice though was that my feet were totally numb after the bike.

Did some stretches and a little light running.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I guess run fitness.

Race was spoiled a little by poor weather.
