Comments: Longest run yet. Started out ok, but started to struggle a bit near mile 5. Left knee really started to hurt between mile 8 and 9. From there, it was walking and running (as much as the pain would allow). What would you do differently?: Train more, and drink more water. Post race
Warm down: Did some stretching, got a free massage (got what I paid for, a cat could have done better). Walked a bunch, drank some beer! :) What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of training and a bum knee Event comments: I hope to do MUCH better next time..... Got up, ate cereal and a powerbar, drank some water, and got going.
Did some stretching at the stadium, got to stand in long bathroom lines. (why do they block off stalls for "elite" runners, last I checked, Everyone Poops)
