Pre-race routine:

Oatmeal toast, and Banana at Jason and Lindsays house in Provo. Packed up and headed to the race got there at 6:30 this got us a very good spot by the bike in/out.
Event warmup:

Couple short jogs and a quick 100 yard swim 10 min prior to race.

Took it seemed forever to get the wetsuit off over the timing chip!

Remove timing chip and then wet suit... That sounds even slower!!

Cramped at the end of the bike and the start of the run... too little water or pushed to hard on the bike. I think alittle of both.

The first 200 yards I discovered that my new goggles SUCKED! Frist the left eye then the right filled wih water. After a quick adjustment I was able to put together the best open water swim I have ever done - yeah I know this was only my second but still it was awesome!
