Swim
Comments: The area I need the most work in. I will be training really hard when I'm back at home and have access to a pool. As for right now, I could be worse so I'm not complaining What would you do differently?: Started off too slow, but I just need to train more here! Transition 1
Comments: Just got clip-less pedals so I'm still trying to get used to clipping in. Wasn't very smooth this time but thats OK. What would you do differently?: Practice! Bike
Comments: Could have pushed harder at times. But overall it was a good ride. Transition 2
Comments: Little rough getting off the bike, all I wanted to do was to not fall clipping out. Run
Comments: I was having trouble breathing, so I was a little taken aback by that. There was some event going on in the Quad when I started to run through it and there was no race volunteers managing the sidewalk. The mass of people was so big I had to stop and walk right through them, I was a little weary if I was even on the right course. The really should have placed more people here, this definitely cost me some of my time. Post race
Warm down: Walked around, met with a lot of my friends (student of Illinois) and enjoyed the rest of my day! What limited your ability to perform faster: The crowd of people on the running course. Event comments: First year for this race, so I understand the lack in certain areas. It was a good course and I really enjoyed the competitiveness in my age bracket. 34 girls my age is huge! I'm used to 15 or less. Pretty cool. Last updated: 2009-04-04 12:00 AM
