Had trouble getting rocks off feet before socks went on.Was really cold from swim.
What would you do differently?:

have more towel showing for feet.

Seat post dropped down 3-4 inches during mile three. Didn't have tools so I couldn't fix it, made for a long next 16 miles.
What would you do differently?:

Bring tools with always. Check bolts and wheel alignment in transiton set-up.

Tried to take cycling shoes off twice. Was kind of out of it as I was still cold.
What would you do differently?:

Concentrate on shoes on helmet off.

Legs were pretty shot from low seat post on bike. Feet were still warming up on run.
What would you do differently?:

Need to go out faster. Held good pacing but had a lot left in the tank at the end. Sprinted last quarter mile.

Warm down:

Water, choclate milk while walking around. Left quad tightened up and was tough to stretch out.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Mental error on bike by not having tools with me. Need to plan for contingency that things can and will go wrong.

Event comments:

Great event with a lot of things going on. Wife and son enjoyed the atmosphere, and volunteers were great. Plan doing it again next year.
