Comments:

Wanted a 10min/mile pace. Stuck to it well, but around the downs lost a little time. last 2 miles made up some time, but not enough...Blisters on the right foot from changing an insert...STUPID....'

Felt great the whole way. Last 1.5 miles started to die, but just sucked it up and finished strong. Nutrition, hydration, training...all spot on.
What would you do differently?:

run faster? Not change shoe inserts.

Walked around, drank powerade and water.

Not much.

Event comments:

Outstanding. Hilly, windy, very hot today. Great race leading up to a HIM in July.
