Pre-race routine:

woke up about 5AM, had coffee and bagel and then headed to Nisswa around 5:45 a.m.
Event warmup:

Just 3-5 minutes of light jogging

Comments:

The course was advertised as "flat" but it wasn't. No huge hills, but lots and lots of rollers and small hills. The entire race you were either going up or down a small hill.

My left calf cramped at about the 13 mile marker - probably due to not drinking enough - it was cool so I didn't feel like I needed much but in hindsight I probably shouldn't have had more gatorade.

Overall a nice race - because of family and friends in the area I will likely do it again.
What would you do differently?:

take more water/gatorade at the aid stations - I only took 3 sips of gatorade the entire race.
Post race
Warm down:

Grabbed finishers medal, and headed to the food tent for gatorade. Also stood in line for a message.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Overall I'm happy with my time. It's only my 2nd half mary I knocked 11 minutes off my time from last year on a slightly tougher course so I'll take it.

Event comments:

Only real complaint is there were no signs telling us where to go for packet pickup Friday night. Other then that it was fine. Nothing great but no glaring issues either.
