Comments:

did the 1 min run, 1 min walk throughout. started to panic at the 1 mile sign. "you mean it's only been a mile?" but then got back into the rhythm of things. i did ok. not my best run. not my worst.
What would you do differently?:

train more. not be out of town for the 6 days before the race. but i had fun and my kids were with me too!

not enough training time

Event comments:

nicely run. lots of volunteers to cheer us on. they had a bag check so you didn't have to worry about your stuff. lots of smiling, helpful people.
