Brink 5k - Run5k

I started out really fast, maybe too fast, but I was really excited because for some reason I was in the lead! That experience lasted about 4 minutes but it was really fun. I kept within sight of the guy who passed me, but he had such a strong pace I couldn't keep the gap from growing steadily. Still, he beat me by less than a minute so I'd say I was able to keep a good pace myself.

Incase it wasn't obvious by 19:30 being the 2nd fastest time, but this wasn't really a competitive event. There were definitely people there to race, but for the most part it was a benefit run with people out just enjoying the beautiful day. Not that I am complaining, it was a blast, just not what I'm used to from my race experience.
