Comments:

Yesterday, while at the Run On! store, I found out about this race and decided to sign up. The weather was very hot and humid. This was an uneventful run. I felt good the whole race. My RPE was much lower than what my HR monitor was telling me, so I just kept running. Walked through 2 aid stations to try to get my HR down some.
What would you do differently?:

I need to work on pacing. Looking at my splits, I take off too fast and slow down through out the run. I would like to be able to run a constant pace for most of the race and then kick at the end.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around, stretched. Ate watermelon, a bananna, and a Moon Pie. Drank lots of water (the Moon Pie was kind of dry).

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Just need more training. Probably need to sign up for these running classes that Run On! teaches.

Event comments:

The race was well organized with lots of vonlenteers. Although, there should have been more aid stations. I think there were 3 on the course and none of them had Gatorade; just water. The sign up fee got you a nice singlet.
