Pre-race routine:

We parked our car close by the night before, and morning of the race we biked down. 13 y/o son had a baseball game right after the race, we had no time to waste!

Aforemented bike ride, some stretching, lots of chatting!

Comments:

Started way too far back. Timing chip didn't activate, obviously, until I crossed the start, but I spent the first 1/2 mile trying to work my way up the crowds. Stupid!!
What would you do differently?:

Start further up.....not lose hubby and son in the crowd. If I stayed with them, I would have rocked!!
Post race
Warm down:

Fast drive to baseball game, 3 hours in bleachers. They won!!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not thinking about start positioning. Not wanting, in advance, to push it - Wildflower is in a week!
