Swim
Comments: Missed the indication that I was done with the swim, swam an extra 25 meters! ahhh. oh well, I was doing great for the first 250 meters then fell behind a little on the next 250, and then fell apart for the 250. Transition 1
Comments: Shirt took a long time to get on, slowed me down. I tried clipping the shoes in before and it seemed to work a little better. What would you do differently?: I will probably put a rubber band on the shoes and connect it to the frame so that the shoes aren't going everywhere when I hope on the bike. Also, I need to practice this a little more to get my times down on this transition. Bike
Comments: Fastest bike I've ever had. I kept the pace around 20-22 mph the entire time. What would you do differently?: Find somewhere to put the Hammer Gel after I finish it! Transition 2
Comments: Fastest second transition yet. I already was out of the bike shoes and had my gloves off. \ Run
Comments: SLOW! I was hurting on this run. My legs tightened up way too much and it felt horrible! The run is my strongest event but this time is was horrible. Usually I put my run time below 20 minutes, but not today. What would you do differently?: Figure out how to get rid of the pain in my legs! Post race
Event comments: I've ran this twice now, and I'm not impressed with the organization at all. None of my times were logged except for the swim. They messed up a few of my friends times as well. I think it would be a better race if they had someone else timing the race for them, or at the most, get a chip system as that has been very helpful in other races I've done.
