Pre-race routine:

woke up at 5 a.m. ate one egg and some toast. got on the road at 5:30. arrived at LSU-E around 6:45. got packet info and set up transition.
Event warmup:

stretched for about 30 min. walked around, checked out the pool.

since i'm on my local swim team, swimming part of tri's the easiest thing in the world, to me. wasn't even winded.
What would you do differently?:

put a faster time. passed one person but didnt phase me.

caught a head wind on the first mile. on the turn around, tailwind was a great self-esteem booster :D

practice further running. i hardly run so that is needed

Warm down:

walked around a lot. drank an Accelerade.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

wind. water was pretty warm, making my muscles really loose. 78 F water would have been great, no complaints here.

Event comments:

awesome door prizes. got to meet a lot of college athletes in post-race party. since this was my second triathlon, i was happy with my performance.
