Comments: Felt real good until the last turn-around. Although my breathing was still steady and I wasn't tired, my legs just wouldn't go anymore. I really slowed down the last 1/2 mile or so just to save enough to make it up the big hill at the finish. It was good having my team waiting on the hill to push me those last few yards. ![]() Post race

It was my first race, so I just followed my teammates around to figure out what to do next.
Had a banana and a power bar around 5:30 and followed with a bottle of gaterade.
Simple stretching. Light jog down to the start line from registration.
