Pre-race routine:

Major flooding the night before- flooding at home kept us up all night from 1pm on with police etc.
Got there arounf 6:30 had water, coffe, cereal, odwalla bar
SWIM WAS CANCELLED_ADDED 1.9 RUN INSTEAD

The cold towel at the turn around gave me a boost for the secong half of the race- I think that is when I was able to pick up my pace a bit. wa content with Fartleking it

really train hard on the running during summer sun
