Comments: DAMN THAT SHIT HURT... the last think I was told before I rode my first TT was.. "It's all about the pain." Nuff said. I didn't feel particularly great but I guess I did ok. The hills seemed bigger and more frequent that last time too.. I"d get over the top of a hill and expect to fly down the other side but never did get up lots of speed on the other side of the hills. What would you do differently?: Clean and lube my drivetrain before the race and wear a tight fittin shirt so i'm not flapping in the wind. I've got lots of hard hill work to do.. oh.. and I could stand to loose 30 more lbs Post race
Warm down: Went and got my water bottles and rode about half a mile trying to spin as much as I could. What limited your ability to perform faster: my fat arse ;) Event comments: This is such a great way to judge your improvments.. and apparently i've gotten 45 seconds better since two months ago.. I'll take it!! I highly recommend finding a local Time Trial series and racing them as often as you can. It hurts like hell but it's a ton of fun!! Last updated: 2005-07-25 12:00 AM
