Run
Comments: my foot and shin started to ache... hope I am not getting shin splints or something. Wasn't bad enough to stop, but slowed me down a bit twords the end. What would you do differently?: Try to get closer to the front of the start so I don't have to do soo much weaving. I really thought the fast people would be up front so I tried to stay out of their way... guess I was wrong Post race
Warm down: walked around looking at all the stuff they had, picked up some goodies for the kids, did some streching. What limited your ability to perform faster: maybe the time between getting to the start and the actual start. Kind of defeated any warm up Event comments: Fun race to do for a great cause! Walked around for a while, then ended up standing at the start for well over half an hour after the run should have started.
Walking, then some lady did a "warm-up" on stage that I followed along with. Some streching
