Swim
Comments: Best swim in a competition freestyle the whole time, and breathing was pretty regular. What would you do differently?: n/a Transition 1
Comments: Good transition, bike was far away from the entrance. Still a little flustered after a long swim like that. What would you do differently?: n/a Bike
Comments: Good bike overall, I stayed with the people that started out with me, and passed a bunch at the beggining and end. Got up to 48 mph TWICE. What would you do differently?: Pray for it not to rain. Transition 2
Comments: Good except I really stumbled getting my bike back into the rack; just couldn't make up my mind. What would you do differently?: Not be so OCD. Run
Comments: Badass run, although someone in my age group that I smoked on the bike blitzed by me right before I started my kick at 1200m, and I lost contact, and didn't get it back. Overall it was a really great run. I was more than pleased. What would you do differently?: n/a Post race
Warm down: Walk to the car. What limited your ability to perform faster: I still suck at swimming. I didn't push as hard as I could have on the bike. I had some left over after the run, and I probably could have saved more time by putting a bigger effort in the bike as opposed to practically sprinting the run. Event comments: This is my 4th race, and 3 of them have been this tri-the-parks series. Last week I did West Point Lake Tri and was absolutely blown away by how well it was done. This series is just not as good. I really did enjoy it, but I can tell that it is not put together as well. Last updated: 2005-07-30 12:00 AM
