Comments: there really wasnt anything i could do about the stomach problems. I have raced the course manytimes and never had a problem on the hills. What would you do differently?: not get sick. Transition 2

Comments: the first 2 miles I was dealing with stomach problems and a side stich. after the first 2 miles everything went away and i picked up the pace to just below normal race pace. it seamed that gatorade was the solution to my stomach issues but the tast killed me. but by that time the race was pretty much over and all i could do was damage control. What would you do differently?: drink gatoraid earlier?? Post race
Warm down: I crossed the line felling good. What limited your ability to perform faster: stomach problems maybe improper nutrition. Event comments: the race is always a good race. I wish I could have performed better. Last updated: 2009-05-10 12:00 AM

I was feeling a little sick the night before, stomach, but the next morning I felt fine. Did my normal pre race, bowl of cheerios 2 hours before race and 2 cliff shotblocks b4 swim.
