![]() Swim
Comments: Well, considering the current and these swim results it puts a jaded effect on total race but... none the less, it counts. What would you do differently?: Swim more towards the middle of the river to get more benefit from the current. ![]() Transition 1
Comments: Garmin was broken so i spent time and just took it off. Also had to wipe feet a good bit. ![]() Bike
Comments: Nutrition on the bike was kept minimal to try to minimize potential stomach problems on the run. It worked fine except i was pretty dehydrated during the run once that sun started heating up. Drank 1 bottle gatorade 1 bottle water + 2-3 drinks outta a gatorade i snagged at bottle change. Ate half clif bar and 1 gel This was probably one of my best bikes ever. I didn't have any data b/c my garmin broke so i had to keep asking random people how far we have gone etc. I was pleasantly surprised with my average considering the hills and what not. Felt great the whole time though. ![]() Transition 2
Comments: Got a time check from a fellow age grouper and knew that my run was gonna be tight to beat my goal. Get a move on. ![]() Run
![]() Post race
Warm down: Got really happy. Got water Stretched for awhile Ate some stuff What limited your ability to perform faster: Dehydrated on run so a very high heart rate for the pace i was going. Event comments: Great race, loved the course, the volunteers, and the results haha :) I would definately do it again. Last updated: 2009-05-11 12:00 AM
