Comments:

Swim was last (reverse tri). Pool was a complete cluster, ran into a number of people hanging out at the ends of lanes. Frustrating experience. Was completely hypoxic in the first 50, then mellowed out. Had to swim behind a breast stroker for about 100, could not pass.

What would you do differently?:

this is for T2, bike to swim transition, which went well. Wore flip flops from bike to the pool - this was a good move, as T2 is very long.

Comments:

Fast bike - lost my straw early on the bike and had no water after that. Ate sport beans for the remainder, this worked out fine. Felt pretty powerful. However, when I rolled into T2, my legs didn't work well. May have hammered a bit ;-)

race timing needs chip start as well as finish. There were 3 waves this year (a change), and it's clear from the results that some were in the wrong wave.
