Comments: Held back a little since I did not know how hard to push without effecting bike and run too much. Did not kick strong in order to save my legs. What would you do differently?: Underestimated my time. Passed one person and got caught behind another. Flip turns next time. Felt winded. Need to warm up more to get my heart rate going. Comments: Took time to stretch a little. It cost a minute or so, but may have been paid back during the run by being less tight. What would you do differently?: Practice transitions. Run

Warm down: Walking and stretching What limited your ability to perform faster: More training and newness to the sport. Event comments: Timing problem on swim. Need better signage at last turn to finish ride. With two laps, I did not see signage and as other riders went straight to begin their 2nd lap, I almost followed them since I did not realize I was at the turnoff since it is a newer development and a lot of the roads looked alike. First triathlon so no routine. Woke at 4:15am. 45 minute drive from DC. Yogurt and Banana on drive.
Stretched and then jogged 5-7 minutes
