Comments: Forgot my bottle holder so didn't take a bottle with me on the run. It may be a short run, but I like to have something to drink on the way! Went out quicker than planned (6:36/mile) and slowed a little on the second half (7:07/mile). What would you do differently?: Remember my bottle holder! Transition 1
Comments: Rainy day meant I had my shoes in a plastic bag to keep them dry. That added time. Also a new helmet that took a few extra seconds to put on. What would you do differently?: Practise putting on helmet! Bike
Comments: Went out a bit too hard. Passed about 14 people on the bike and wasn't passed by anyone. What would you do differently?: Take it a little easier in the beginning. Transition 2
Comments: Wet weather not helping, but better than first transition. What would you do differently?: Do it faster. Run
Comments: Paced myself ok on the first mile. Picked up a little on the second. I held my position fairly well but was hearing the footsteps of the faster runners I had passed on the bike. What would you do differently?: Remember my bottle! Post race
