Comments: Slower transition than I expected. Had a little bit of trouble with my helmet. What would you do differently?: Practice getting my aero helmet on my head faster. Bike
Comments: My first 20+ mph average on the bike leg for any triathlon/duathlon I've done. What would you do differently?: Work on riding a higher gear at my preferred cadence. I was hardly ever in the smaller half of my rear cogs except on the downhills. Transition 2
Comments: Another slower than expected transition. This time it was some trouble with my race number belt. What would you do differently?: Keep practicing. Run
Comments: Pushed myself maybe a little too hard the first half of this run. Ended up walking most of the last mile-and-a-half. I might have been able to do my first sub-hour 10k had I been able to keep running for that last mile-and-a-half. Still ended up as my best 10k. What would you do differently?: Keep running more to get faster. Post race
Warm down: Walked around and stretched. Had some food and gatorade. What limited your ability to perform faster: Run stamina. Need to get in more run workouts.
