Comments: Swim went well, past a bunch of people, hit some shallow water near the beach and got up and ran when I found myself dragging my hands in the sand. What would you do differently?: Go a bit harder with less leg kick. Transition 1
Comments: Did a 1/2 decent flying mount (shoes already on) didn't clip in well and smashed my junk on the seat a bit when my shoes slipped off the pedals. What would you do differently?: Not smash my junk. Bike
Comments: Would probably like to go harder, but i can't complain, I was saving my legs for a good run which I didn't have until this race. What would you do differently?: Gone harder up the hills. Transition 2
Comments: Decent T2 nothing special. What would you do differently?: Do it faster... Run
Comments: Ran well, stopped to take a leak at the turn around point, it was getting uncomfortable. What would you do differently?: Try and push harder the last mile, not sure though it was a good run for me. Post race
Warm down: Stopped, ate some food, walked around... Took "ice bath" in 53 deg lake. What limited your ability to perform faster: Power output on the bike and run... Effort level on the swim. Was running a little late, setup transition as usual.
hardly any warmup, as it was a TT start and i figured I'd just get cold waiting to start. I did go in the water to get used to it and do a short swim as the water temp was 53... Brrr...
