Comments:

First mile run was right at 9, but second mile came in at about a 7:30 pace, which was way too fast. Also, it got alot warmer, quicker than I thought and I knew I would have some problems with heavy sweating and hydration. This turned out to be true, as the last 3 miles were very, very tough and I could not hold onto the desired pace. First water stop was not until mile 4, which I thought was too far out into the course given the temp. I would have been better to have carried water for me and T, but I didn't and that became a problem later in the run.
What would you do differently?:

Carry water and be more rigid about pace early in the run.
Post race
Warm down:

Juice, fruit and stretching. Photos with my running partner and family.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Heat

Event comments:

Course is terrific and race cause is outstanding. I would recommend this run to anyone. Could use one or two more water stations on the course.
