Found out the swim had been cancelled, left the wetsuit in the car. Set up transition and chatted with some of the competitors.

Comments:

traded spots with another rider, finally dropping him towards the end of the course on the hills. Got passed by 2 riders on the descents, but passed others.

Comments:

Started easy, then stretched it out a bit before the first nasty climb, which hurt. Recovered from that stretch on the fireroads, lifted the pace to pass a few people. had a guy on my heels for most of the course.

Event comments:

Great race even with the cancelled swim, it ended up being a 7+mile run, 11-12 mile mtn bike, with a 1 mile 'victory' lap at the end. the guy i was running with and riding with, who I dropped towards the end was in my age group. It was good to have someone close by to race with.
2 XTERRA races so far this season and 2 AG wins. I'll take that.
