Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 4:15 AM and showered. Packed up frozen fluids and stopped by 7-11 for the morning brew. Arrived at Crandon Park at 5AM and met up with Frank. We were one of the first to get body marked and set up transition area. Got a great spot at transition and was able to get all equipment ready.
Event warmup:

Did not warm up except for stretching and walking. Did a pre swim warm up.

What would you do differently?:

Use more leg power instead of pulling so much. Need to keep better eye on course. I could have saved approx 1.5 minutes had I kept a line.

TRansition area was far from swim exit. Approx 1/4 mi. Was winded through the sand but finally made it in.

No socks and no gloves on bike.
