Comments: Felt like a did keep a good, solid pace, but still need to work on cardio. Achieved my goal of finishing in under 30 minutes. Jeff was a good cheerleader! (Thanks, buddy) What would you do differently?: Stretch better before hand. Have something light like toast or something. Also, I'll leave my underarmor at home. Wasn't comfortable and probably just made me hotter. Post race
Warm down: Walked around a little bit. Grabbed a glass of orange pop and a banana. What limited your ability to perform faster: Underarmor. Lack of stretching. Event comments: Didn't stay for the awards. I hated that, but had to help Rebecca's sister Mandi move. Had an awesome time involving the entire family in the race. Got up at 6am. Got dressed, tried to eat a banana. Felt like I was going to puke. Drank some water. Got family up and around. Drove to Odell. Arrived at 7:10. Plenty of time to get packet and hang out as people came in.
Went to stretch 10 minutes ahead of start time. Not nearly enough time to stretch the way I needed to. I'll need to start warm-up and stretches at least 1/2 an hour ahead of time.
