Comments: Too many people bunched up, having to pass multiple people, couldnt get into any kind of rhythm What would you do differently?: Put in more realistic time, maybe a touch aggressive, make some pass me, rather than me passing everyone else ![]() Transition 1
Comments: Overall, the speed felt about right, took too much time getting clipped in What would you do differently?: Hmmm not sure what I could have done... maybe not put on socks ![]() Bike
Comments: Bike speed felt ok, took too much time to get heart rate back down from swim What would you do differently?: More training to increase speed to 20 mph or higher, more aggressive time for swim so I can get into a better rhythm, so heart rate isnt so high going onto bike ![]() Transition 2
What would you do differently?: Feet out of bike shoes onto top of shoes, rather than unclip ![]() Run
Comments: Again heart rate and breathe gone going into run, took about a mile to get them back down to comfortable level What would you do differently?: More interval training for better speed, pick it up more at the end ![]() Post race
Warm down: Sat down in the grass in the shade, tried to keep from puking What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of training Event comments: Very nice facility, well organized, tons of volunteers. I met Dr Cooper, very nice guy. Will definitely do it again next year. This was my 2nd sprint Tri and all of my times improved: Swim from 2:14 to 2:04 per 100yds, bike from 16.8 to 19.0 mph, run from 9:42 to 8:59 min/mile. Last updated: 2009-05-25 12:00 AM
