This was my 2nd tri and 1st OWS....OMG!! I've tried to mentally prepare for this but really needed to work on OWS in a group setting. Breast stroked it for 75% of swim!
What would you do differently?:

Location, location, location. I place myself in the middle of pack and could not swim my way around some of the slower folks...Need to get over my fear: kick to the head and drowning

Just bought my 1st bike in november 2008.. riding a Trek FX 7.3 with clipless pedals. Witness alot of folks walking bike up those BIG hills...I walked only once. Still needs lots of work on the bike....
What would you do differently?:

Hydrate more and ride 2-3x/week instead of one

Have achillies tendonitis since 3/2009 run very painfull...Still taking handsfull of tylenol and ice 3x/day

Practice more brick workouts and resolve injury

Lots of H2O and hug from my husband. Stretched and iced while in the back seat of car on the way home!
