First open water race swim. I was happy w/ my time. I did alot of zig zagging and stopped numerous times to site.
What would you do differently?:

Do more navigation in open water training.

Took me 30-40 seconds to find my bike. Otherwise things went well
What would you do differently?:

Use some kind of maker to make it easier to find my bike. I would use a ballon or a flag or something.

I think the bike route was longer than 25 miles. More like 26 or 26.5. Had a very good ride. Stuck to my stratagy of starting easy and working into a good speed/cadence. I was a good feeling flying by people w/ expense bikes on my cheap schwin proluge.

What would you do differently?:

I prep for this race do a hilly cource once per week in prep. Also, try and run this cource a few times as part of prep.

Warm down:

RX4 recovery drink immediatly after race. Plus baggels, bannas, and other drinks.

Event comments:

Good race. Talked w/ a bunch of good people. I enjoyed this race and will plan on it for next year.
