Comments:

Started swimming again about three weeks before so I was fairly weak in this event. Started in the middle but in the back. Got completely run over about two dozen times when the swimmers from the sides started to move in. My first triathlon so this was a little overwhelming but since I didn't drown I was fairly happy with the swim.

Started bike training about a month ago so I am a pretty weak cyclist. Thought I was flying along until the fast guys started going by me. Amazing how fast some people can ride!

Course: Out and back with some hills. A closed course which was nice for my first time. Roads were fairly smooth and other than the reverse turn to come back, not difficult.
