Comments: A death march. I felt terrible. I've never run that poorly in my life. Ate four gels during the run, and was still terribly low on energy for the entire run. What would you do differently?: Eat more the night before Post race

Drove up the day before with John Lippe (he did the sprint). Ate a plate of ziti for dinner. Knew I should have eaten more but didn't; it would come back to haunt me during the race.
Woke up at 04:00 and drove to the park. Set up transition and relaxed until 07:45.
Began warmup at 07:45. Ran 1.5mi in 8:20. Put on wetsuit and got ready to swim.
