Run
Comments: Well I thought I had lined up well little back from the fray. I guess a little to far back. Not sure why the cop had to drive though the crowd before the start. Didn't find a little run room till after the first corner then it was a fight with other idiots that lined up farther back then me. First 1/4 mile felt like a 9 minute mile. I thought I have to get moving. That I think was my down fall. I spent a little too much. The legs got very tired. From there the legs wanted to go slow. Everyone I passed started passing me back. On the out field run I must have been pasted by 20 peolpes. What would you do differently?: Pace better. Post race
Warm down: Walked up the stairs, got a gatorade and water. Looked for Mike and Rob. I found Rob but no Mike. What limited your ability to perform faster: Pacing. Event comments: Little disappointed in this race, but Mike put in perspective "You're whining about running a sub 25 5K." No sir I will not. Missed ya Mike. Was looking forward to getting beat by Madie in the one mile Fun Run. Last updated: 2009-06-01 12:00 AM

Up at 6:15, had a little cereal and milk. Hit the road, ATM stop and coffee. Got to race 60 minutes ahead of time. Met up with Mr. Kam's Husband. Registered and sat in truck discussing various things such as whether the rain would hurt the Rhubarb. 8:00 or so got out to warm up.
Ran about a 1/2 mile with little pick ups here and there. Felt good legs loosened up well. Stretched and got to start line.
