Pre-race routine:

got up at 3:15 met buddy at 4:00am to drive the 120 miles to race. Got there about 6:30 picked up packet set up transition and loosened up. took shuttle to swim start across the lake.

not many aid stations. very hot sunny and got sunburned as ran/biked with shirt off

What limited your ability to perform faster:

bike killed me and affected my run, just general lack of training coupled with a very tough bike course left nothing for run

Event comments:

tough course, first year maybe they are learning the business bt need more volunteers and the ones they have to be more informed and attentive.
