Pre-race routine:

Got up at hotel,got all the way to race site before realizing I forgot my bag with all my equipment back at the hotel. went back and got it and got to the race 15 minutes before start
Event warmup:

stood around and waited for it to start, other than riding my bike back to transition.

I'd have gone off earlier. I was basically right behind someone the whole swim

I would have ridden the hills a ton, and not gotten a flat on the way through the last mile

Pretty good. Faster than previous Tri, but over much harder walking course
What would you do differently?:

Train more for the walk. I need to start running. Id like to get this down to 42:00 in the short term, and 30:00 in the long term.

I ate snacks and stood still.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Im fat. I have the equivalent of my fiancee in extra weight.

Event comments:

A good second tri. It was hard, but i suck still, so it should be hard. I'll be looking for races like this one in boston to help judge my progress.
