Comments: Survived it..that was the main thing.. First open water swim ever. Very different experience with crashing into a few dudes when you're 300 yards from shore and sucking wind... Really was never real worried though. Sighting was ok, back floated about 10 seconds at each buoy. (My goal was just to reach each buoy...worked for me) I couldnt swim 4 lengths about 2 months ago...So yes, i was really glad to get to shore..lol What would you do differently?: Master Swim Class Starting Tomorrow! Comments: Rode mtn bike with running shoes and toe clips. Will have Tri and Clipless in Hbg to see... Bike
Comments: Rode as good as expected with my 30# Mtn Bike. Rode a lap prior day an had 1 hour as absolute fastest time for me. Close enough... What would you do differently?: Bar and Drink at start. Didnt get enough hyd for run when trying to drink on the bike. main thing...bought a new TRI-BIKE today...cant wait for HBG Tri in 2 weeks. Transition 2

Comments: Was completely out of gas...eat/drink more prior or on bike maybe. Mostly just learn to swim to not get so used up early. What would you do differently?: Hydrate early Post race
