Pre-race routine:

Woke up a little later than expected. SSS with a brief warm shower. Water and oatmeal for breakfast. Left condo around 6:30.
Event warmup:

No time!! Traffic was a mess. Ran up to starting line 30 seconds before send off!!

Got to event later than expected!! Ran down beach with 30 seconds to spare before start. TRAFFIC!! Forgot nose plugs in rush. Saltwater in nose immediately. Could not stroke without swimming on back.

Remember nose plugs. Leave house at 6am.
