Comments: The venue I think was right, but I don't think I was actually prepared. I thought I was. However, by mile 19 my legs just didn't want to work like normal. What would you do differently?: It could be my eating and drinking. I had a bowl of oatmeal at 3am and a bagel at 4:15 am. On the course I ate 2 GU and 2 Tiger milk bars. I drank maybe 24 oz of water. Post race
Warm down: Walked What limited your ability to perform faster: I think it was the eating and drinking. I will prepare better for the next one. I will do my best not to have my legs fail me. To be fair with myself I did have a cold and Plantar Faciitis, but I see that as an excuse not a reason. Event comments: It was my first so I think I learned some valuable lessons.
