Woke up 5:30
ate 1st meal on the way
drank 1 bottle water
2nd protien bar 1 hr before race
2nd bottle of water
Full blown (preworkout dink) 30 min prior to swim.

Side cramp after 1st buoy. WTF! hit first buoy in great shape, then faded quickly as I had to do breast stroke to avoid dying!
What would you do differently?:

Figure out why I cramped! pissed me off for the first 2 mles of bike until I found my groove!

Event comments:

1st year for this event. would definately do it again! next year they already are making plans for chip timming.
