Some swimming and jumping jacks
Swim
  • 11m 5s
  • 547 yards
  • 02m 02s / 100 yards
Comments:

good sighting !!! We were the last of 10(?) waves. It was very calm early in the AM, but very light chop by the time my wave went.
What would you do differently?:

nothing-pretty good swim
Transition 1
  • 02m 4s
Comments:

I jumped on, cliped in and went. Smoothest so far for me--next maybe rubber band trick ?

Sue and kids screaming Go Dad! Very funny.

What would you do differently?:

glide on ankles
Bike
  • 38m 43s
  • 12.43 miles
  • 19.26 mile/hr
Comments:

Pretty good pace- my best ever, but very flat with little wind. I could have gone a little faster. I tried getting into the big ring, but gave up and stayed in small ring.

I did get feet out of shoes which made for awesome T2 tine!
What would you do differently?:

Not much, other than run the course in advance and make sure I was in the right gears. Also try rubber band trick.
Transition 2
  • 01m 29s
Comments:

I am sure this was my best T2 ever-even screwing around with shoes some.
What would you do differently?:

Need to go no socks next time. Maybe yanks too.
Run
  • 28m 53s
  • 3.4 miles
  • 08m 30s  min/mile
Comments:

Small cramp on the way out, as usual started felling good and picked up the pace on the 2nd half.
What would you do differently?:

Practice bike to run more
Post race
Warm down:

jogged, stretched, water

What limited your ability to perform faster:

lack of training

Event comments:

I thought 3d did not do well.
not enough port-a-johns--LONG LINES
not enough people marking--LONG LINES
not enough people distributing chips--LONG LINES
FINISH to race not coned off properly-I went the wrong way until corrected by crowd
