Swim
  • 26m 43s
  • 1600 meters
  • 01m 40s / 100 meters
Comments:

Age group 18/45 - great swim did not have my usual anxiety attack, I think it pays off to relax at the start
What would you do differently?:

Overall swim training needs to improve
Transition 1
  • 01m 23s
Comments:

I need to know work on cutting out seconds, need a place to store my bike kit, spare tube, CO2 etc, tape gels to frame, tape bar to frame, really look for those seconds
What would you do differently?:

practice getting into shoes, I know I keep saying this but I really need to do this
Bike
  • 1h 18m 42s
  • 27 miles
  • 20.58 mile/hr
Comments:

This was my strongest segment, I enjoyed the ride and feel comfortable on the bike.
What would you do differently?:

I really need to train more on the Tri bike
Transition 2
  • 00m 55s
Comments:

I really hauled it when I got off the bike, it was a long run on grass and I got out of my shoes early, actually a bit too early. Had trouble putting my running socks on which I did not put on in the end and my feet were fine. Just need to apply glide to shoes
What would you do differently?:

stay in shoes longer.
Run
  • 36m 55s
  • 5 miles
  • 07m 23s  min/mile
Comments:

too hot, I really don't perform well in the heat, running at least that is.
Post race
Warm down:

usual stretches

What limited your ability to perform faster:

need a tri specific training plan

Event comments:

Great race, loads of volunteers who seemed to know what they were doing.
Missing was a finsih line clock and mile markers on the run.
