drank one bottle of heed and quarter bottle of water. one hammer gel, 15 min. into ride. one stinger 45 min. into ride. felt the stinger kick in.

wasn't ready for off road running course. trained on pavement. would like to drink more, but can't breather when I run and drink. would have liked to have stinger during run, but can't breathe and eat.
What would you do differently?:

run more. train on off road courses. learn how to eat/drink while running.
